Confidence Building sessions

You can't touch it, but it affects how you feel. You can't see it but it's there when you look at yourself in the mirror. You can't hear it, but it's there every time you talk about yourself. Self Confidence is how much you value yourself and how important you think you are. It's knowing you are worthy of love and respect and accepting your limitations and boundaries. It's how you see yourself and how you feel about your achievements.

The Bridge Project frequently runs Confidence Building sessions, aimed at helping women affected by Domestic Abuse to increase their self confidence, assertiveness and communication skills. It looks at how you have been conditioned to think the way you do, and how you develop your beliefs.

The course uses group exercises and one-to-one activities to promote positivity, relaxation and help calm anxiety. It will create self awareness, helping to increase positivity about life and identify changes which will create independant and positive thoughts. These methods then empower women to take more control of their lives by setting goals and identifying positive changes within themselves.
