Number and Play for ages 0-3 years.

Being a parent is the most important job in your life and the most challenging. You are your child's first educator, and play a huge part in the development of your baby. You can help to give your child a great start by sharing cuddles, talk, rhymes, sharing a story each day and playing together!

Number and Play is a 6 week course for mothers and children aged 0-3 years. It has been designed to give parents practical ideas and suggestions for having fun with numbers through the medium of play!

Including numbers in play time with your child need not be difficult or expensive, and does not need to involve any more maths than basic counting - you will be amazed how many rhymes and games involve basic numeracy, and how simple objects from around the home can help early learning!

Number and Play makes an ideal follow on from Language and Play. If you have been to LAP you will know that children learn best through playing and doing.
